The Trek Top Fuel 69er has a 29 inch front wheel with 26 inch wheel in the rear. The advantage of this configuration is that the larger 29 inch wheel roles over bumps better than 26 inch wheels. The advantage of using a 26 inch wheel in the rear gives the bike a more manoverable feel and better handling bicycle that using two 29 inch wheels.
